We were delighted to welcome special guests to our school this afternoon for a special Presentation Day, marking the end of our week of celebrations. We were inspired by Mrs Bethan Harding, MBE, director of Winning with Numbers who spoke to us about the importance of grit to make the most of our gifts and talents.
We were also delighted to welcome Mrs Elizabeth Gray, the founding principal of Grindon Hall. Mrs Gray was struck by the growth and changes in our school since its first inception, but was pleased to see that the importance of Character and our Christian Ethos remains central to the work that we do. She was delighted to meet our worthy winners of this year’s Founding Principal’s Award.
